Our client is looking for an experienced Gameplay Engineer to join a team based in the centre of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This full-time role comes with a generous salary and benefits package, including flexible working hours and a healthy work/life balance. 

Please note that Dutch is a must-have element in this role, both verbally and written, and English is a plus. 

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: 

  • Write clear, portable and maintainable code 
  • Build and debug games 
  • Work closely with artists, designers and other engineers to design and implement mechanics 

To apply for this Gameplay Engineer role, you will need a Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field. You will also require the following: 

  • Excellent demonstratable C# knowledge 
  • Experience working with Unity 
  • Experience in technical documentation (UML, use cases, technical requirements) 
  • Familiarity with CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures and design patterns
