Game Tester

In your first few weeks in this Game Tester role, you can expect to: 

• Take a player's perspective to deeply experience gameplay, professionally analyse and evaluate core game systems, make recommendations for improvement, and help games become AAA mobile and PC experiences 

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of game developers, UIUX, engineers, user research and designers to make core gameplay decisions 
• Continuously monitor and analyse competitive products and the gaming industry to focus on gameplay innovation and industry trends to create high-quality games 

To apply for this Game Tester role, you will need a bachelor's degree or above and more than three years of working experience in the game industry insight or user research position. You will also require the following: 

• A passion for games, especially strategy games (SLG), shooting games (FPS), role-playing (RPG) or card (CAD) games 

• Deep understanding of gameplay design and mechanics, and able to translate the emotional experience of the game into a rational analysis 
• To be user-centred, passionate, solution-focused, innovative, and a team player
