Game Security Engineer

Join the Security team at a leading game development studio, where you will focus on creating a safe and secure gaming environment. This role involves driving anti-cheat efforts, building protection capabilities, and working closely with game and backend teams to ensure technical security across various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy tools and services for preventative and detective anti-cheat capabilities.
• Conduct debugging and reverse engineering on cheats and exploits using tools like IDA and/or Ghidra.
• Review and assess client/server code to identify flaws and suggest improvements.
• Advance game security products to keep pace with changes in our games, technology, and the attacks we face.

We Would Love If You Have:

• Documented experience in Windows kernel development.
• Proficiency in code obfuscation techniques.
• Good understanding of x64-86 systems programming.
• Experience in game development, preferably with C++ and Unreal Engine.
• Experience working in an engineering organisation with CI/CD, scalability, and automation.
• Familiarity with working in an agile environment and a focus on processes, development, reliability, and responsible experimentation.
• A creative and curious mind.
