We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Game Economy Designer to join our client's inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time game economy design role is remote and comes with an excellent salary and benefits package.
As a Game Economy Designer, you will thoughtfully structure the economic systems and supporting features of the company's game economies, plus provide data-backed recommendations on design, balance, and pricing. You will also create and operate an open economy informed by facts and respond to opinions, analytics, and test results with suggestions for improvement.
In your first few weeks in this Game Economy Designer role, you can expect to:
To apply for this game economy design job, you will need an undergraduate degree in game design, economics, finance, mathematics, or equivalent. You will also require at least 3 years of experience in design, economics, or related experience, and live/online game development would be a huge plus. In addition, you should have in-depth knowledge of Excel and basic familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal. An innovative, creative, and collaborative spirit and an understanding of player motivation, and a passion for video games are also essential.
