As a Game Director at this studio in Amsterdam, you will use your wealth of experience and great leadership skills to translate the game vision into a plan, guide and lead a team of managers to execute the plan and ultimately strive to make the project a success. 

This multi-platform VR studio is made up of industry veterans and is home to a growing portfolio of VR games, offering a unique experience to players at home and outside of it. As a part of the team, you will get to enjoy working with a young and passionate team, with room to grow and share your creative input, whilst benefitting from loads of studio perks. 

Game Director responsibilities: 

  • Set the vision for the project and ensure it is stuck to throughout 
  • Determine project scope in terms of budget and timelines 
  • Give direction and feedback to the team 
  • Monitor the project throughout to ensure the vision is respected 
  • Take on work that sets the standard and inspires the team 

Key requirements for this role in Amsterdam: 

  • Experience in a Game Director role having worked on the full development cycle of a console/PC/VR game 
  • Experience in a Lead Designer role throughout the entire development process 
  • Strong creative leader having worked on projects based on both original and existing IP
