Game Developer in London 

If you’re a game developer looking for a new high responsibility role, look no further! 

As a Game Developer at this studio in London, you will be working alongside the engineering team to facilitate best practices throughout the studio, as well as mentoring junior team members to encourage their career development and designing the project roadmap, and much more. 

This studio is one of the largest indie studios in the UK and make hugely successful mobile games and multiplayer games that entertain millions around the world. They have won several best places to work awards for their studios around the world, so you can be sure you’ll be looked after as a part of this team! 

Game Developer key responsibilities: 

  • Interpret design requirements and creative aspirations 
  • Implement R&D project strategies, as well as infrastructure, systems and features 
  • Work on the project roadmap and provide technical plans 
  • Ensure technology plans are robust and stakeholders are aware of them 
  • Report project progress to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Mentor team members, give feedback and set expectations 
  • Work with the Principal Engineering Team to shape best practices studio wide 

Essential requirements for this role in London: 

  • Strong Cskills 
  • Passionate about creating robust code 
  • Commercial experience in a game studio or large development team 
  • Familiar with Unity or Unreal engine 
  • Experience of using source control systems such as Git 
  • Strong mathematical skills 
  • Passionate about making games
