Game Designer

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Game Designer to join our passionate team in developing unannounced new projects for a company with a history of making exciting 3rd-person shooters! This full-time Game Designer remote role is remote from the UK and comes with a generous salary and benefits package. 

In your first few weeks in this Game Designer role, you can expect to: 

• Create detailed game design documents and prototype specifications that can be used throughout the production process 

• Develop and iterate the game design through close collaboration with Programmers, Artists, and other disciplines 
• Use in-house tools to implement features and gameplay 
• Collaborate with other developers to define and tweak game mechanics 
• Conduct gameplay evaluations with the team providing feedback and suggestions to help fine-tune and improve the game 

To apply for this Game Designer role, you will need professional experience creating game design documents and prototype specifications. You will also require: 

• Professional experience as a Games Designer at a similar level 
• Knowledge of the video game development process, including working in a timely manner and prototyping appropriately within that restriction
