As a Game Client Engineer at this studio in Shanghai, you will be joining a brand new team at this studio in your efforts to make next-generation MMO games the best they can possibly be! Within the role you will be working to improve game processes, building and testing code, improve UI and a whole lot more within Unity Engine. 

This passionate team has several studios around the world and with a new expansion in Shanghai, this is the perfect time for someone who is talented and ambitious to join them! Game Client Engineer responsibilities: 

• Work with next-generation mobile games in Unity Engine 
• Implement changes needed to make games compatible for release in China 
• Work in a cross-disciplinary team 
• Break stories into technical tasks and sprint planning 
• Work to hit sprint goals 
• Extend UI 
• Test code changes and resolve bugs 
• Work to improve processes 
• Be on-call to support partners in urgent issues 

Key requirements for this role in Shanghai: 

• Significant prior experience in game development working on AAA or F2P MMO games 
• Significant experience developing 3D games in Unity engine 
• Strong C# skills 
• Experience integrating SDKs from publishers and social platforms in China 
• Understanding of real-time rendering 
• Understanding of how to write low-latency and low-garbage code in C# 
• Fluent in Git 
• Understanding of programming principles 
• Fluent in English and Mandarin 
• Passionate about the games industry
