Remote Game Client Engineer

As a Game Client Engineer at this studio, you will have the chance to work fully remotely as you strive to implement and maintain game systems, working in a cross-functional team as you plan and deliver improvements and features to ensure the player experience is the best it can possibly be. 

This studio creates advanced media content through sport-based mobile games, as well as apps, websites, and virtual experiences. If you’re a sports lover who likes the sound of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and combining entertainment and lifestyle, you could be the perfect fit for this role. 

Game Client Engineer responsibilities: 

  • Create, modify and debug C# game code in Unity 
  • Create new and improve existing game features and tools 
  • Mentor the engineering team to improve and extend the code base 

Essential requirements for this remote role: 

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or similar 
  • Extensive professional experience with C# or other OOP programming language 
  • Significant prior experience with a professional game engine such as Unity, Unreal, proprietary, etc. 
  • Have worked on shipped games that run on Unity engine or similar 
  • Understand the basics of software engineering 
  • Passionate about games and game development
