As a Frontend/UI Artist based in Guildford, you will be creating high-quality and engaging UI and motion design content for exciting new projects. This is the opportunity for a new gaming challenge and role within a small but powerful team.

This BAFTA-winning studio has a glowing reputation for innovation in the storytelling and VR genres, with several critically acclaimed successful titles behind them, and some new projects in the works, it’s a great time to join the team! 

Required

  • Confident with Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Portfolio of high quality, immersive interface experiences#, motion graphic animation and 2D art which demonstrates experience in game menu design and UI
  • In depth understanding of current UX and UI design trends within AAA titles and experience in all stages of the project life cycle
  • Able to follow an artistic vision and work within the boundaries of a style guide, constantly driving for graphic design quality
  • Strong interest in graphic and motion design, typography, and colour theory

Responsibilities

  • Creating, production art assets and working with a frontend programmer to ensure that they are implemented accurately
  • Creating concept, design and pre-visualisation of frontend menus and UI elements, following a brief provided by key stakeholders such as the art director and game designer
  • Working towards targets and milestones in a high-pressured full production environment
