Skillsearch is helping a US-based gaming studio find and hire an experienced Front End Developer to join a collaborative team on a remote-working basis. This is a 6-month contract that comes with a favourable per-day rate.
As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing user interfaces and creating interactive experiences for customers. In addition, you will be expected to develop frontend features using React and other frameworks.
In your first few weeks in this Front-End Developer role, you can expect to:
- Design and build dynamic user interfaces
- Implement user testing and analytics to optimize performance
- Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality products
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in order to optimize user experience.
To apply for this Front-End Developer role, you will need extensive knowledge of React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will also require the following:
- Ability to architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications
- Proficiency in web development tools and techniques
- A passion for video games and an understanding of the gaming industry and UI/UX
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
