Foliage Artist

Skillsearch's client has an exciting opportunity for a talented and collaborative Foliage Artist to join a welcoming team in Amsterdam. This full-time environment artist role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

As a Foliage Artist, you will work as a key member of the art team to create high-quality and detailed vegetation models.

In your first few weeks in this environment artist role, you can expect to:

• Support the level artists with creating vegetation assets from shrubs to large trees
• Model high and low polygon assets and texture them through the PBR pipeline
• Ensure assets created follow the given art direction, are within the agreed production deadlines, and conform to the required technical specifications
• Receive, give, and apply feedback effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.

To apply for this Environment (Vegetation) Artist role, you will need experience in the games industry (preferably AAA). You will also require the following:

• A portfolio with examples of high-quality vegetation artworks
• Experience with Blender
• Experience creating high-poly vegetation assets (bake-to-plane workflow)
• Expertise in UE4\UE5.
