Our client is looking for a talented Senior Character Artist who is experienced in modelling, texturing and material creation for high-end AAA games. This full-time Character Artist role is a remote role and offers a favourable salary and benefits. 

As a Senior Character Artist, you will work closely with the Art Director, the character/art team and other disciplines to complete tasks. 

In your first few weeks in this Senior Character Artist role, you can expect to: 

  • Work with the Art Director and Leads to deliver high-quality art assets that meet or exceed standards 
  • Validate and maintain assets so they run efficiently in-game 
  • Diagnose and fix any art issues that may arise 
  • Stay informed of cutting-edge technologies and how they apply to our own workflow 
  • Establish and document pipelines for others to follow 

To apply for this Senior Character Artist role, you will need experience working on at least two AAA titles in character artist positions. You will also require the following: 

  • A portfolio demonstrating current-gen 3D art techniques in a realistic style (full character body and hair examples required, skin examples a plus) 
  • Deep understanding of current-generation techniques such as photogrammetry and PBR rendering 
  • Proven experience in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop and Marvelous Designer
