Remote Environment Concept Artist

As an Environment Concept Artist at this studio, you will be working on a fully remote basis as you produce high quality art using your experience and stylistic flexibility to bring the game project you’re working on to life. 

This studio creates mobile and social experiences for their huge worldwide player base, with a hugely diverse portfolio of games under their belt, and big plans ahead, it’s a great time to join the team. 

Environment Concept Artist responsibilities: 

  • Create visual concepts for environments including landscapes, architecture, interiors and exteriors 
  • Prepare model sheets for the 3D department 
  • Render game assets including background elements and textures 

Key requirements for this remote role: 

  • Strong illustration skills 
  • Skilled in environment concept design 
  • Understanding of proportion, scale, perspective, lighting and colour 
  • Extensive experience in gaming/animation/post-production industry working on environment creation 
  • Strong understanding of the production pipeline and workflow 
  • Skilled in tools such as Photoshop, Painter, etc. 
  • Game developer first, artist second
