Skillsearch is looking for an experienced and talented Environment Artist to join our client's small team of veterans and work on an enterprising AA third-person action-adventure game (unannounced). This full-time environment art role is remote in Europe and offers an attractive salary and benefits.
As a skilled and creative Environment Artist, you will work closely with the Level Designer and Narrative Designer to create and dress believable narrative-guided environments set in the Middle Ages, with a particular focus on realism.
To apply for this Environment Artist role, you will need 3+ years of experience as an Environment Artist in an AA/AAA game studio. You will also require proficiency with modern industry-standard tools, workflows, techniques and pipelines for game dev. Additional requirements include:
- Exceptional environment set dressing and world-building skills
- Experience with asset production (modelling, texturing for PBR and UVs)
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a good work ethic
- A portfolio demonstrating your work
