Do you have environmental art experience, and are you seeking a new remote-working opportunity?. Skillsearch is helping a US-based gaming platform find a full-time Environmental Artist, and the role comes with an attractive salary of $85k p/a.

As a flexible Environmental Artist, you will be responsible for environmental art, design, world building, and hero prop creation. This will include creating the environments and props in the suite of locations available to the platform's users.

In this Environmental Artist role, all facets of hard-surface modelling, lighting, and material authoring will be on your shoulders. • Excellent knowledge of hard surface modelling workflows within Maya/Max/Blender, including lightmap creation, and retopo and normal mapping processes
  • Outstanding knowledge of material workflows in Substance, and translating those materials into UE4
  • Outstanding knowledge of UE4 environmental art tools, including knowledge of lighting, postFX, complex material blueprints
  • The ability to quickly concept and ideate with senior team members, with 2D or 3D sketches.

In return for your dedication and commitment, you will be provided with an attractive salary of $85,000.
