Skillsearch is looking for a passionate and creative Environment Art Manager to help craft a new high-profile role-playing game in Irvine, CA. This full-time Environment Art Manager role comes with a generous salary and benefits package, as well as hybrid working options. 

The Environment Art Manager will support the growth and development of artists on the team. You will handle the artists' resourcing, one-on-ones, mental health, and reviews. 

Some of the primary responsibilities you can expect to take on as an Environment Art Manager include: 

  • Working with the art director and art leads to manage individuals across the art department 
  • Working closely with the Lead Environment Artist to provide feedback and guidance on the work of the environment artists 
  • Conducting regular one-on-ones with art department leadership and artists 
  • Designing and implementing standard processes around staffing, interviewing, onboarding, and career development 

To apply for this Environment Art Manager position, you will need 3+ years of management experience and excellent communication and organizational skills. You must be able to handle a wide range of personnel issues, from career development to conflict resolution and manage a large team of environment artists throughout the course of production. Experience Shipping at least one game in any discipline is also required.
