Do you have Engine Programmer experience, and are you seeking a new remote job? Skillsearch is helping a leading game studio find a full-time Pipeline Engineer, and the remote role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package. 

As a Pipeline Engineer, you will develop new pipeline technology for the production of current and future games. You will also implement efficient exporters and tools to support production teams and maintain and support our existing pipeline technology while in use by production teams. Please note that this position offers a competitive salary. 

In your first few weeks in this game engineer role, you can expect to: 

  • Implement efficient exporters and tools to support production teams 
  • Contribute innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development 
  • Work with technical leader to identify technical risks and generate solutions 
  • Keep current with the technological developments and advancements in the game industry 
  • Analyse code for performance and optimisation opportunities 

To apply for this pipeline engineer role, you will need 5 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You will also require the following: 

  • Knowledge of game production tools and pipelines 
  • Knowledge of C++, and Python programming 
  • A grasp of mathematical concepts and analysis techniques as they apply to game engine programming
