Are you an engine programmer, looking for a new remote role in the US? Our client is looking for experienced Engine Programmers to develop, debug, and optimize engine-level systems in the Unreal Engine. This role comes with an attractive salary and many benefits.

As an Engine Developer, you will analyse and improve performance across all target platforms. You will also develop and maintain new and existing systems for managing memory and streaming. 

In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to: 

  • Analyse and improve performance across all target platforms 
  • Debug and fix crashes, concurrency issues, and platform-specific problems 
  • Research and propose improvements to processes and pipelines1 

To apply for this role, you'll need to be an avid gamer with a passion for making games and game technology. You'll also require: 

  • A keen interest in analysing and optimising the existing game and engine code 
  • 5+ years of industry experience developing for PC and consoles 
  • Experience with multithreaded programming 
  • Proficiency in C/C++Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering 
  • Unreal Engine experience
