Skillsearch is looking for an experienced and collaborative Elastic Stack Engineer to join our client's passionate and talented web team at a world-renowned UK studio. This full-time elastic stack engineering role offers a generous salary and benefits package.
As a skilled Elastic Stack Engineer, you will ensure the performance, usability and reliability of the company's ELK stack for users. You will also contribute to and implement a roadmap for improving their analytics pipeline. As part of the web team, you will also play a key role in the development, maintenance and utilisation tasks for analytics.
In your first few weeks in this Elastic Stack Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Set up and assist internal users with access and configuring of Kibana
- Troubleshoot errors and performance issues
- Improve indexing, performance and response times of the existing ELK stack
- Maintain high availability and zero-data loss of the pipeline
To apply for this elastic stack engineering job, you will need professional experience in the design, maintenance and management of ELK stacks (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana). You will also require the following:
- Experience configuring and maintaining elastic clusters
- Familiarity with working with large data sets and elastic indexing best practices
- A good understanding of network protocols, security and performance
- Experience working with Kibana extensions (ideal)
- Elastic-certified training or qualifications (desirable)
