If you have business development management or senior sales executive experience and would love to work with a small independent game studio in Toronto, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a flexible, full-time Director of Business Development, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

You will be a leading force and owner of strategic partnerships, including key global distribution partnerships, as Director of Business Development. You will provide strategic insight and empower the company to deliver its defined goals and approach to its key partners in the smoothest way possible. Willingness to work in Toronto is preferred, but remote opportunities are available.

During your first few weeks in this Director of Business Development role, you can expect to:

  • Provide thought leadership, educate internal stakeholders about customer trends, and identify investment opportunities for growth
  • Manage and support some of our most strategic distribution partnerships
  • Promote product enhancements and implementation needs for all partners
  • Develop and execute the overall partner strategy/vision/KPIs

The ideal candidate for this Business Development position will be highly analytical and data-driven, biased toward data-based decision-making. We are looking for someone willing to drive new initiatives and operate with limited guidance. Additional requirements include:

  • Commercially savvy and excellent business judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence remote teams, both technical and non-technical
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements
  • Expert at identifying and executing successful partnership deals and large-scale marketing deals

In return for your passion, collaborative approach and commitment, you will receive a generous salary and benefits package that includes:

  • 6.5 weeks of Paid vacation
  • Game Launch Bonus Structure
  • Relocation assistance
  • Flexible schedule and work location
  • Healthcare & benefits
