Director of BD in Northern Europe 

We’re looking for a Director of Business Development for this huge, thriving studio... If you think this could be you, keep reading! 

As the Director of Business Development at this studio, focusing on Northern Europe, you will have the chance to work fully remotely in your efforts to build the studio’s reputation and create new opportunities for success. 

This AAA studio is a leading global platform for game development and publishing, as well as operating one of the largest online game communities in China. Currently home to over 140 games, they offer some thrilling cross-platform interactive experiences, and with more new titles up their sleeve, it’s a great time to join the team! 

Director of BD responsibilities: 

  • Source and execute strategic partnerships and investment opportunities in gaming studios in Northern Europe 
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem in Europe 
  • Build quality relationships with game developers and publishers 
  • Monitor key trends and identify opportunities within the market 
  • Negotiate and execute on investment transactions and partnership agreements 

Key requirements for this role: 

  • Strong pre-existing network/relationships with developers in Europe 
  • Passionate about the gaming industry 
  • Game production background/BD experience at a large publisher 
  • Deep understanding of development processes 
  • Able to travel internationally to meet partners and attend conferences
