Skillsearch is on the lookout for a skilled Development QA Lead to join a welcoming and inclusive game development team. This remote QA Lead role comes with a salary of £30,000 and a compelling benefits package; whilst you manage the development team's needs.
As a QA Lead, you will manage the needs of the development team whilst liaising with external QA departments. The team is rebuilding an existing title from a critically acclaimed IP in a more modern engine. You will own the quality of the rebuild, ensuring parity with the existing version with no visible difference for the player.
If you were already in this QA role, here are some areas you would have been working on this week:
- Liaising with other QA teams, helping to ensure that the correct test plans are being played through and the correct priorities are being applied
- Managing all parts of the QA process from the point of view of the development team
- Taking a direct role in highlighting quality issues with the game
The successful Development QA Lead will need 3+ years in a similar role, specifically in the games industry. Additional requirements include:
- Experience working on at least one commercially released game in a senior QA role
- Experience thoroughly testing online live, F2P games
- Experience working through detailed test plans
- Experience liaising with outside QA resources
- Comfortable working with Jira or other ticket-based systems
