Designer in London 

We’re looking for an experienced Design to work on unique VR experiences alongside cutting-edge products... Sound interesting? Read on for details and to apply today! 

As a Designer at this studio in London, you will be helping to design VR and haptic experiences, ensuring the product is accurate, realistic and immersive. You will play a lead role in determining the best way to approach the procedures with the support of your colleagues and the open culture of the studio. 

This studio is doing ground-breaking work using the latest VR technology to change the way the medical industry operates. If you want to be involved in shaping the future of surgeons and have the chance to use your skills for something truly meaningful, this is the opportunity for you. 

Designer responsibilities: 

  • Define and develop design efforts 
  • Develop and fine tune mechanisms for each step of the procedure 
  • Ensure simulations are as close to reality as possible 
  • Work in agile development and scrum 
  • Be a key point of contact for all design aspects of the product 
  • Ensure procedures are clinically accurate 

Key requirements for this role in London: 

  • Experience using Unity engine 
  • Experience working in a similar 3D design role 
  • University degree (or equivalent) in a scientific subject 
  • Interest in and knowledge of VR, MR and AR technologies 
  • Passionate about doing everything to a high standard 
  • Collaborative and a strong communicator 
  • Keen to share and learn from mistakes 
  • Comfortable viewing videos of surgery as reference material
