As a Design Director at this studio working remotely within the UK you will be taking on a pivotal role in supporting and inspiring a team of designers, ensuring the next generation of games at this studio are the best they can be and continue to thrill and excite players along the way.

Design Director responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage the design team for the project 
• Define the creative vision for the project 
• Ensure the design team deliver a high-quality game and keep to budgetary and time constraints 

• Ensure the game is relevant to the target audience and their feedback is taken on board 
• Work on user research 
• Work on planning and task allocation in the design team 
• Perform PR duties for the project as and when required 
• Support and provide feedback to the design team 

Essential requirements for this role: 

• Experience leading one or more project in a Game Director or Design Director role on a AAA console game 
• Strong communication, time management and planning skills 
• Practical approach to technical and creative problem solving 
• Able to work under pressure to deadlines
