As the Design Director at this studio in Amsterdam, you will be taking on a pivotal role as you own all things design for this brand new project. Within the role you will be taking charge of managing the design process, steering the project, managing and inspiring the design team, and plenty more. 

This AAA studio is home to one of the bestselling games of all time and is made up of a tight team of talented individuals. 4 years after the release of their flagship title, which is one of the highest selling games of all time, they are now working on a brand new, highly anticipated project... As a part of the team here you will benefit from their highly sociable culture as well as a generous holiday allowance and pension scheme. 

Design Director key responsibilities: 

• Lead the game design 
• Work with the Creative Director to create an innovative vision and fits with IP 
• Manage all stages of the design process 
• Inspire and support the team to lead them to success 
• Steer the project and ensure it fits with time scales 

Essential requirements for this role in Amsterdam: 

• Expert in game design 
• Extensive experience in a Senior/Director position 
• Have worked on one or more shipped AAA game 
• Strong leadership experience 
• Passionate about games
