We are seeking a Data Analyst to join a dynamic game development team in Riyadh. This role is crucial in influencing game production, business strategies, and go-to-market plans through data-driven insights. As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with production teams to ensure that all features, creative assets, and in-game content align with player behaviour and market trends. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing player experiences and driving success across a diverse gaming portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Provide actionable insights by analysing consumer behaviours, ensuring game features and content resonate with players.
  • Customer Segmentation: Develop models for customer segmentation, churn prediction, and lifetime value estimation.
  • Game Optimization: Structure experiments and build models to enhance player experiences and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Business Impact: Implement testing techniques to assess the effectiveness of business initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses of game data and industry trends in the mobile gaming sector.
  • Data Visualization: Create visualizations to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Present findings and reports to senior management and relevant teams.

Qualifications & Key Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience in the mobile gaming field.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Statistical Skills: Strong applied statistics skills, including distribution analysis, statistical testing, and regression.
  • Data Science Tools: Experience with tools such as R, Weka, NumPy, and MATLAB.
  • SQL Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL and RDBMS concepts, with experience handling large datasets.
  • Programming: Proficiency in languages like Java, Scala, Python, R, or Perl.
  • Visualization & Communication: Ability to visually communicate data insights and work closely with design and marketing teams.
  • Language: Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
