As a Data Analyst, you will work with (very) big data with millions of players and billions of lines to analyse! You will be both an analyst and have the opportunity to contribute directly to development, with a decisive influence on specific design choices.
To give you an idea of how this data analysis role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:
- Manage and create top-level reports on the game's health
- Provide analysis to stakeholders that need insights
- Define telemetry needs (format, triggers, content) for the gameplay programmers to implement
- Work with a data scientist and a data engineer on whom you can rely if necessary
To succeed in this Data Analyst role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of experience, but ideally 5 years or more as a data analyst. You will also need to be fluent in French and English and have significant experience with data visualisation software like Power BI or Tableau. In addition, you should be fluent in SQL and autonomous with the ability to identify value reading data. Familiarity with game analytics (retention rate, churn, LTV, user segmentation, etc.) and experience with cloud databases such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Google Big Query, etc., is also essential.
