Remote Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at this organisation, you will be working fully remotely on an initial 60-day contract, with the opportunity to extend based on performance. Working on a strategic automation project, you will be working with the project manager to achieve project deliverables using your specialised skills. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar, high responsibility role. 

Data Analyst responsibilities: 

• Analyse both internal and external data sources to support the pilot 
• Meet the pilot needs through defining data analysis processes 
• Work with developers and data scientists to improve data flows 
• Implement system databases, data analytics and other strategies to optimise efficiency 
• Identify suitable tools for data visualisation 

Essential requirements for this remote role: 

• University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Information Management, Public Administration, Management, or similar 
• Significant experience in applied analytics, business intelligence, statistics, or information management 
• Experience of using data to inform decisions and strategies 
• Experience with self-service analytics and data visualisation applications or business intelligence tools 
• Experience with tools managing version control (such as Git) 
• Experience with SQL/Python/R 
• Knowledge of the data analysis lifecycle 
• Understanding of Agile Software Development Methods
