In this full-time remote role, you will be working with an inclusive and collaborative payroll solution.
As a Payroll Country Owner, you will define the local Danish payroll set up of Alight Pay and the ongoing maintenance and health of the Denmark solution. You will also monitor the regulatory environment and ensure changes are understood, planned and incorporated into the Country payroll standards and workbooks.
In your first few weeks in this Payroll Country Owner role, you can expect to:
- Own the payroll solution for the country (Denmark)
- Monitor the regulatory environment and ensure changes are understood, planned and incorporated into the payroll standards and workbooks
- Maintain the process documentation for country standard processing
- Define payroll account payments and deductions relevant to the country
- Support country payroll teams in running payroll and providing tier 1 support and triage for all technical questions and problems
To succeed in this Payroll Country Owner role, you will need excellent English and Danish Language skills. You will also require the following:
- Experience in a similar Payroll role
- Experience with payroll calculations and legal compliance
- Experience validating all created standards and rules through testing of created Country solutions within Alight Pay
