Our client is looking for an experienced and collaborative CTO to join our inclusive team. This full-time CTO role is based in London and offers a generous salary of up to £120,000 a year.
As our CTO, you will be a part of a small innovation lab responsible for the continuous discovery, prototyping, development, and productisation of new technologies. You will help build and direct a team of engineers, 3D artists, and programmers to work on XR language learning products.
In your first few weeks in this CTO role, you can expect to:
- Build and guide a team of engineers, 3D artists, and programmers to work on XR language learning products
- Manage developers and freelancers that create prototypes that explore how VR/AR and AI can help us teach languages
- Set up and manage our agile development processes and lead and mentor XR developers
- Work closely with internal product, engineering, AI/ML teams, and software architects to prepare experimental features for productisation
- Guide developers in exploring the creative space offered by language learning with emerging technologies, for example, by prototyping
To apply for this CTO role, you will need at least 5 years of experience working on VR software. You will also require the following:
- Five years of hands-on experience with software development using Unity/C#
- Track record of bringing a product from concept to prototype to market
- Solid understanding of UX for VR applications
- Understanding of what works and what does not work for language learning in VR
- Experience working with curriculum designers/language experience designers
