Are you an experienced Creative Director with strong expertise in IP development, world‑building and cross‑media creative leadership?

Join a strategic team responsible for expanding a major global game franchise across games, media and brand experiences. You will define and maintain the overarching creative vision, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while guiding internal teams and external partners in delivering high‑quality, cohesive content.

About the role

You will act as the creative owner of the franchise’s IP vision, responsible for defining, maintaining and evolving its identity across multiple formats including games, video, publishing, music and brand collaborations. This is a strategic, franchise‑level role focused on creative direction, not individual product delivery. You will work closely with senior leadership to align creative decisions and ensure all outputs reflect a unified vision.

What you’ll do

  • Define and oversee the creative vision and direction across the entire IP ecosystem
  • Act as the final decision‑maker on IP‑level creative guidelines and standards
  • Ensure consistency across narrative, art, music and cinematic outputs
  • Advise product teams on how to apply the IP vision to their work
  • Review and provide feedback on internal and external creative deliverables
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape creative strategy and decision‑making frameworks
  • Guide external partners and studios in aligning with IP standards
  • Identify and develop opportunities to expand the IP across new formats and media channels
  • Establish scalable frameworks for consistent creative execution across multiple projects

What we’re looking for

Experience

  • 10+ years of creative leadership experience in games, media or IP development
  • Experience overseeing creative direction across multiple disciplines
  • Proven experience working with external partners or studios
  • Experience managing creative consistency across large‑scale or multi‑project environments

Skills

  • Strong ability to define and communicate creative vision across narrative, art, audio and visual domains
  • Expertise in world‑building and IP development
  • Ability to evaluate and maintain quality across diverse creative outputs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong ability to present creative ideas and rationale to senior leadership
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives

Nice to have

  • Experience leading creative direction for a global game or entertainment IP
  • Experience building and managing IP or world “bibles”
  • Experience expanding IP across transmedia (video, publishing, music, brand partnerships)
  • Multilingual communication skills
  • Experience maintaining creative consistency across large franchise ecosystems
