Conceptual Game Designer

Our client, a creative and independent development studio for digital entertainment software in the heart of Munich, is looking for a Conceptual Game Designer. They are offering a generous salary with many excellent benefits. 

As a Game Designer, you will conceptualise new games with high creative freedom and new IPs. You will also be working closely with our Business Development Team to present these pitches to our clients. Please note that remote work is possible in our client's hubs in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Poland, Finland, and Romania. 

In your first few weeks in this Game Designer role, you can expect to: 

• Be the champion for generating inspiring game concepts based on external RFPs 
• Take the lead in developing fresh and unique concepts that are aligned with the company strategy 
• Dive into new trends within the industry and translate them to new game concepts 
• Cooperate closely with the product team and design leads 
• Design and map out new features and content and adjust existing ones from high to detailed level 

To apply for this Game Design role, you will need at least five years of experience in the field of game design. You will also require the following: 

• Ability to create and execute on a Creative Vision 
• Ability to understand detailed requirements and translate them into design solutions 
• Out-of-the-box thinking 

• A basic understanding of F2P mechanisms and concepts (eg player conversion and retention)
