As a Code Manager at this studio in Farnborough, you will be supporting the development of exciting game features as well as code systems, working with leadership teams to keep the studio welcoming and collaborative, demonstrating ideal core values.

Code Manager responsibilities: 

• Organise and empower the code team 
• Appraise the career trajectory of each team member to optimise assignments and inform the recruitment strategy 
• Ensure code needs are met across developments 
• Identify areas or individuals which need mentoring or support 
• Work to mitigate technical risks 
• Ensure working practices are agreed upon and in place to produce quality code 

Key requirements for this role in Farnborough: 

• Organised and efficient as a manager 
• Talented programmer with debugging and coding skills 
• Expertise in one or more professional OO language (C++/C#/etc.) 
• Familiar with performance management and recruitment processes 
• Happy to mentor and give feedback to other team members 
• Working knowledge of contemporary development software and working practices
