Cloud Platform Architect

PERMANENT POSITION - ASAP START - $135000 PER ANNUM - BOSTON AREA

Specific Technology Requirements

• Solid understanding of Public Cloud vendors; Oracle (OCI), AWS, Azure, GoogleCloud
• Previous experience architecting Cloud solutions
• High-level RDBMS/Operating System understanding
• Ability to set up and configure the infrastructure to Public Cloud
• Networking proficiency (DNS, routing, Firewalls etc)
• Deep understanding of security & authorisation proficiency (SSH, OAUTH, SOAP and REST)
• Understanding of automation and orchestration, CI/CD & Pipelines

Specific Activities include

• Participate in POC (Proof of Concepts), (Proof of Value), Demonstration efforts as well as engaging in beta programs and adoption of new technologies
• Carry out systematic performance troubleshooting, upgrades, migrations and performance system resource optimisation
• Solve complex problems with little or no supervision on schedule, as an individual or part of a team
• Lead in-person and conference call meetings with customer technical teams
• Travel as needed to support customer-site meetings and activities
• Review architectural requirements to ensure operational accuracy and achieve successful Cloud adoption.
• Produce high-quality architectural designs and associated diagrams, blueprints and standards
• Ensure Deployments meeting customers business requirements
• Take a lead in the pre-sales process
