Cloud Configuration Expert

A prestigious organisation is looking for a highly skilled Cloud Configuration Expert to support an important project within its Information Technology Division (ICT). This role involves developing a specialised, competency-based assessment tool designed to evaluate mid-level ICT Cloud specialists with a focus on infrastructure and configuration. The selected candidate will work closely with the ICT Manager and other key stakeholders to create a robust, challenging test that accurately assesses candidates’ hands-on abilities in managing cloud services and infrastructure within hybrid environments. The assessment will play a crucial role in helping the organisation identify the most capable talent, particularly for roles requiring expertise in Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud services, hybrid cloud configurations, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a multiple-choice test for mid-level ICT Cloud specialist candidates, focused on infrastructure and configuration.
• Design 50 questions with four answer options each, indicating the correct answers and ensuring relevance to real-world scenarios.
• Cover various technical areas, including Cloud and Infrastructure services, Cloud Development, Cloud integration, DevOps/Automation, and container management.
• Focus on Azure and AWS cloud services, hybrid environments, and large-scale ICT architectures.

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud configuration, particularly MS Azure.
• Proven experience with Cloud and Infrastructure services, Cloud Development, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, DevOps tools, and automated deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Nexus, GitHub Actions, and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with container management and networking protocols.
• Background in technical training for Cloud technologies is a plus.
