Cinematic Animator

We’re searching for a talented Cinematic Animator with strong skills in both motion capture data and traditional keyframe animation techniques to work on non-stylised, realistic character animations. This is a full-time role that comes with a generous salary and hybrid working options, based in Glasgow.

In this Cinematic Animator role, you can expect to:

• Create top-quality, exciting cutscenes and facial performances, working with the director and cast
• Collaborate cross-disciplinary to ensure animations work as intended and meet visual targets
• Prototype and evaluate visual features, looking for opportunities to improve rigs, and expressions and get the most out of performances

To apply for this Cinematic Animator role, you will need significant professional experience in video game development, preferably with at least one shipped title on PC or Console. You will also require the following:

• The ability to work from concept through final product
• Working knowledge of character animation pipelines in Unreal
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• The willingness to jump in a mocap suit and try out concepts and motions
