As a fully remote Chief Accountant within Europe and APAC you will build and lead the accounting and tax activities of the company. You will be planning, directing and conducting the full accounting activities cycle and report to the finance director.

Requirements

• Extensive long-term experience in an accounting role and time serving in a similar chief role
• Professional account certification such as CPA, CA, CMA, etc.
• Management experience and able to manage a team from a remote location
• Experience in an international blockchain environment and multi-country/multi entities accounting
• Comfortable creating and managing SOPs with a strong knowledge of transfer pricing
• Understanding of the gaming space and IFRS

Responsibilities

• Train and manage team members, covering all sides of accounting within the business
• Strategize and implement tax and accounting policy and SOPs to ensure controls and segregation of duties
• Ensuring that accounting entries are up-to-date and accurate to maintain general and subsidiary ledgers
• Making sure that payment requests are processed and sent for execution and that the proper reconciliations are done
• Provide comments in BS and CF variations
• Ensuring tax compliance and giving recommendations to optimize solutions
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and prepare other reports and Ad-hoc requests
