Character Artist

As a Character Artist, you will craft characters, creatures, props and vanity items from concept to sculpt to finished in-game model. You will be part of a team where you will create assets that are performant and have a good topology for rigging and deformation.  

In your first few weeks in this Character Artist role, you can expect to work in these areas: 

• Modeling, texturing, and implementation of in-game models 
• Textures, materials, shaders and content setup 
• Identifying functional and technical aspects of stylised assets 
• Participating in design and gameplay choices and communicating with team leads. 

To apply for this Character Artist role, you will need 3+ years of experience working as a Character Artist within games. You will also require the following: 

• Experience working on at least a complete cycle of 1+ AAA or AA products 
• A good sense of anatomy, scale and proportions, materials, colour, light and composition 
• Good experience and knowledge working with asset creation pipelines 
• Experience working with shaders and workflows such as PBR 
• Knowledge of technical setups and functions.
