Character Artist

Skillsearch is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Character Artist to join our client's talented team. The Character Artist remote role comes with a generous salary and many compelling benefits, including the chance to work remotely. 

In your first few weeks in this Character Artist role, you can expect to: 

• Create all character-related assets (human, clothing, animals, hair) 
• Maintain and push the visual aesthetic of the client's games in your assets 
• Complete tasks independently, with minimal oversight 
• Review and playtest your work in-engine, independently resolving issues or errors 

To apply for this Character Artist role, you will need a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in modelling, texturing and rigging high-fidelity characters for use in our games. You will also require the following: 

• Ability to create photo-realistic character assets in a real-time game engine 
• Excellent organic and hard surface modelling skills 
• Expert-level skills in Maya, Zbrush, Marvellous Designer and Substance Painter 
• Familiarity with Rust is a plus
