Are you a Camera Artist looking for exciting new projects? Do you want to take ownership of your camera work and create scenes for cinematic games? If so, read on for more details of the role…

As a Camera Artist in Guildford, you will be ensuring scenes meet the cinematography and art requirements of the high-quality games. You will be making big games as a part of a small team, playing a full and active role whilst benefiting from the studio’s quarterly bonus scheme and plenty of other extras.

This BAFTA-winning studio has a glowing reputation for innovation in the storytelling and VR genres, with a number of critically acclaimed successful titles behind them, and some new projects in the works, it’s a great time to join the team! 


  • Experience as a camera operator, a cinematographer, an editor or similar role within a real world or digital production
  • An in-depth understanding of cinematography, cameras (lenses, focal lengths, aperture, focus, etc.), composition and blocking, and the language of film
  • The ability to build out a scene from mocap data with selections of shots and cuts
  • Confident with editing and using a real time engine such as Unreal Engine or similar


  • Creating and editing for motion-captured game cinematics to effectively build a scene and tell a story whilst adding high production values
  • Help the driving of narrative storytelling through the effective use of framing, lens choices and edits
  • Working directly with the art directors and game directors to achieve a desired look and style and ensure consistency
  • Collaborating with other disciplines and teams including lighting and VFX artists, graphic programmers, and designers to create the best possible AAA game experiences
