As a talented Business Development Manager, you will cultivate and build long-term relationships with developers and publishers, present company services, close new business, negotiate, and manage client relationships. You will also be expected to attend client meetings, presentations, trade shows, etc. 

In your first few weeks in this BD management role, you can expect to: 

  • Generate business within the North American games services market 
  • Present company services in line with briefs 
  • Generate leads through existing networks or industry knowledge and research 
  • Implement content-guided campaigns as part of the broader sales strategy 
  • Work with delivery and several support teams to maximize time spent engaging with clients 

To succeed in this business development management job, you must have a track record of surpassing expectations through cultivating and growing relationships. You will also require five years of experience in business development and BD expertise within the games industry. In addition, you should have an existing network of contacts within the games industry. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to forecast opportunities are also essential.
