BD Manager in Vancouver 

Do you have experience in business development in VFX? Does the idea of joining a thriving game studio and working with top talent sound exciting to you? If so, this role is calling your name! 

As a BD Manager at this studio in Vancouver, you will play an essential role in identifying new VFX opportunities, signing up new clients, establishing strong relationships and plenty more both within Canada and outside of Canada. 

This studio with a veteran team is on a mission to explore and create new technologies and gameplay, finding new ways to entertain a global audience. As a part of the team you will benefit from relocation support, a great office location, flexible schedule and plenty more as you work on the future of gaming. 

BD Manager responsibilities: 

  • Identify and explore VFX opportunities within the market both inside and outside Canada 
  • Sign up new VFX clients 
  • Bring new VFX businesses onboard 
  • Establish strong relationships with clients 
  • Handle client-side grievances 
  • Attend industry events, expos and trade shows 
  • Create sales plans with sales forecasts for each year 

Key requirements for this role in Vancouver: 

  • Extensive prior experience in a BD role within VFX in Canada 
  • Experience working with a VFX studio in VFX sales 
  • Strong network of connections of top management in film production companies, media houses, etc. 
  • VFX industry specific references 
  • Able to execute a sales plan and bring it to fruition
