Business Development Manager role in London:

As the Business Development Manager, you will identify and implement suitable inorganic growth opportunities for the company. Working with VP Strategy, you will play a key role in current initiatives. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Business Manager that has in-depth knowledge of the mobile games industry and is results driven.  

This studio is the mastermind behind some of the most popular mobile titles in the world! This team is focused on making a sustainable impact within their team, the environment and the overall company strategy.  
 

Key responsibilities for this Business Development Manager role: 

  • Attain current information on the industry and competitors as well as market trends from public and network resources 
  • Identify and track trends from global gaming markets 
  • Collaborate with teams across different countries, executing business negotiations and contract processes 
  • Recognise and implement IP, game development and M&A opportunities that coincide with company goals 
  • Advise internal stakeholders on business interactions, strategies and head up any valuable initiatives 
  • Provide bi-weekly reports on the status of new lead generation, competitor performance, current opportunities, and market trends 
  • Generate internal documentation and present new opportunities to internal stakeholders 
  • Promote and represent the company with professionalism 
  • Assist partnerships and strategy teams where support is required 
  • Sustain the company’s business using initiative and creating new opportunities. 

 

Essential requirements for this role in London: 

  • Extensive experience in business development and corporate strategy within the games industry 
  • University degree in finance and economics or similar fields, with knowledge of business-related fields 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Knowledge of F2P game studios 
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to create and present them to varying audiences with degree/technical knowledge 
  • Quantitative skills and financial modelling experience 
  • Passion for mobile gaming is an advantage 
  • Language knowledge in Chinese, Korean and/or Japanese is a plus

Aside from the Tube, London offers buses, river buses, black cabs, ‘Boris Bikes’ and trams, so getting around the city should never be a problem!
