Are you an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with a strong network across the games industry and a proven track record of winning outsourcing partnerships?

Join a leading game art outsourcing studio trusted by some of the biggest names in gaming. This is a high‑impact role focused on building and scaling an outbound business development function from the ground up, creating new opportunities with game developers, publishers and studios across Europe, North America and beyond.

About the role

You will take ownership of outbound business development, helping drive the studio's next phase of growth. Working directly with the Founder and COO, you'll build relationships across the games industry, generate new opportunities and convert prospects into long‑term clients.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded sales professional with deep games industry contacts, experience selling creative outsourcing services and the ability to create a pipeline from scratch.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute an outbound business development strategy for game art outsourcing services
  • Build and manage a pipeline through LinkedIn outreach, events, referrals and personal industry relationships
  • Identify, engage and convert game studios, publishers and development partners globally
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and contract close
  • Build long‑term relationships with decision‑makers across game development and publishing organisations
  • Represent the studio at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine sales processes, positioning and go‑to‑market strategies
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking
  • Work closely with production and delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project onboarding

What we're looking for

Experience

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or partnerships within the games industry
  • Track record of closing B2B deals with game studios and publishers in North America and Europe
  • Experience selling game development services, art outsourcing, co‑development or related solutions
  • Demonstrated success building a sales pipeline independently rather than managing inherited accounts
  • Experience working with long enterprise sales cycles and consultative sales processes

Skills

  • Strong network within game development and publishing organisations
  • Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial negotiation and closing abilities
  • Experience with outbound prospecting and account development strategies
  • High level of self‑direction and ownership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and modern sales outreach tools

Nice to have

  • Existing relationships with major publishers or studios
  • Experience working with art outsourcing or creative services organisations
  • Remote‑first working experience
  • Knowledge of mobile, PC and console game development pipelines

Working style / behaviours

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building from the ground up
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a remote environment
  • Resilient and patient with long B2B sales cycles
  • Highly organised and process‑driven
  • Commercially minded while maintaining a relationship‑first approach
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders and decision‑makers

Why join

  • Direct access to founders and rapid decision‑making processes
  • Opportunity to build and own the outbound business development function
  • Established 140‑person studio with an impressive portfolio and strong industry reputation
  • Work with game developers and publishers across the global gaming market
  • Fully remote and flexible working environment
  • Strong learning, development and career growth opportunities

Benefits

  • Performance‑based bonus structure
  • Fully remote, flexible working model
  • Paid vacation and sick leave
  • Equipment support
  • Professional training and course funding
  • Internal English language training
  • Personal development plans and career growth support
  • Collaborative and supportive company culture
  • Active internal community events and social activities

Ideal background

Candidates may come from game studios, publishers, outsourcing providers or service companies with strong industry networks. Experience within art outsourcing, co‑development, external development services or creative production partnerships is particularly relevant.

Our Associate Director, Joe, joins Giles in heading up our Games and Interactive division, his passion springing from being blown away by the effects in Star Wars at a young age. His love hasn’t wavered and Joe always seems to bring out a new Star Wars t shirt every dress down we have! We are lucky to have him considering that he once got stuck half way up a mountain in Borneo so now he goes for flatter holidays – most recently driving across America in a Mustang.
