This full-time build and automation engineering role is remote in the UK and offers an excellent salary and benefits.
As a Build & Automation Engineer, you will join the company's Leamington-based team, but they are fully supportive of remote working and happy to enable whatever blend of home and office best empowers you and your work. You will be responsible for continuous integration and automation systems for their projects, designing, implementing and maintaining TeamCity configurations.
In your first few weeks in this build and automation engineering job, you can expect to:
- Write the client side of automation on company games
- Support projects with Perforce workflow, branches and release streams
- Communicate with the teams about build issues and investigate and help diagnose
- Work with IT to maintain the build infrastructure
- Work with QA to improve the automated testing of company games
To apply for this Build & Automation Engineer role, you will need experience with TeamCity, Jenkins or similar. You will also require familiarity with Perforce or similar source control, managing branches and integration on complex projects with large teams. In addition, you should have the following skills and expertise:
- Highly proficient in C# or C++
- Proficient with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or Kotlin
- Experience in automating and scripting games and familiarity with cloud systems
- At least three years of experience working in the video games industry
- Exposure to post-launch ongoing product development and delivery
