Blockchain Developer responsibilities: 

• Determine blockchain technology needs and functionalities 
• Create application features and interfaces 
• Write multithreaded code 
• Apply cryptology techniques to protect digital transaction data against cyberattacks and hacks 
• Maintain client and server-side applications 
• Optimise and secure blockchain applications through integrating new tools and technologies 
• Educate customer support personnel on blockchain features 
• Keep up with current blockchain technologies 

Key requirements for this remote role: 

• University degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or similar 
• Significant prior experience as a Blockchain Developer 
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript and/or Python 
• Skilled in writing, using, auditing solidity based contracts 
• Knowledge of web3.js 
• Experience in back-end development, algorithms and data structures 
• Experience working with large codebases 
• Knowledge of cryptography and blockchain protocols
