Backend Engineer

This is a unique opportunity for a Backend Engineer who is passionate about games and eager to contribute to a game designed to captivate players for years. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced professionals to architect long-term technical solutions, integrate with third-party backend systems, and ensure the smooth operation of game functionalities like matchmaking and replay systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Create and maintain scalable backend services supporting key game functionalities.
• Architecture Design: Collaborate with the team to design and implement long-term technical solutions that align with frequent release schedules.
• Integration: Integrate third-party backend solutions with custom systems to enhance game performance.
• Code Lifecycle Management: Own the entire lifecycle of your code, from development through to deployment.
• Testing: Proactively write automated tests, including unit and integration tests, to ensure code reliability and support regression testing strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Strong experience with object-oriented programming languages and microservice architecture.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS, Docker, EKS/ECS, Git, SQL/NoSQL, and RESTful services.
• Proactive Mindset: A proactive approach to testing and a passion for working in the games industry.
• Self-Motivation: The ability to work independently, mentor others, and maintain a strong work ethic.

Nice to Have:

• Passion for MOBAs: A keen interest in Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games.
