Backend Developer in London

As a Backend Developer at this studio in London, you will be taking on various tasks to ensure the studio's multiplayer service is improved and optimised to please and excite players. The studio creates high-quality mobile games which are award-winning and adored by their loyal player base. They use a strategy of continuous improvement, meaning that once a game has launched, they use player feedback to update the game to keep it at optimal performance for their players. Backend Developer responsibilities:
- Grow multiplayer service into new areas and across new titles
- Use the latest technology to develop the most exciting online experiences for players
- Build new online functionalities in a robust and maintainable way
- Write tools to empower artists and customer services as much as possible
Essential requirements for this role in London:
- Strong coding skills in web technologies including JavaScript, C#, .NET, Node.js, etc.
- Experience of server/network programming and principles such as database design, load balancing, reliable messaging, security, and more
- Server/network development experience in a high load scenario
- Unity experience would be a bonus
- Experience in the games industry would be a bonus
