A little bit about the city: Manchester
Labelled as a lively, up-and-coming city, Manchester was named as a ‘Top 10 Most Exciting City in the World’ in 2018. The city is one of the most linguistically diverse in western Europe and this is demonstrated in its varied and thriving music, art and fashion scenes. There are many cultural and historic areas of Manchester which are great to explore, from art galleries to old warehouses which have been transformed into coffee shops.
Excellent transport links are available in Manchester, including trains to and from London leaving every 20 minutes. Additionally, Manchester is home to an extensive tram system which makes getting around the compact city a breeze. For those thinking of relocating with little ones, Manchester is a great option due to its abundance of grammar schools and an excellent choice of primary schools.
